Hi! My name is Emily and I'm a grad student studying public health. I've created this blog to get myself to write a little more and to share some of the simple things I enjoy. I am a firm believer in simple things, good coffee, good conversations, and have more than a tiny bit of an old soul.

The name of this blog comes from the amazing conversations driving up and down I-81 to and from school with a co-worker, turned roommate, turned great friend. Extended road trips make for the best place for deep "thinking" conversations and my hope is that this place will be good for 81-like conversations too.
